Learn how Wichita State students are changing the world » Stop Video ALL CLEAR — WSU bomb threat incident — 12:46 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2024 At around 10 p.m., April 25, 2024, a call was made to Wichita State University Police indicating the presence of a bomb on WSU’s campus at Wallace Hall and at the Starbucks on 21st Street. While police suspected the threat was not credible, the university took every precaution to ensure campus safety. The WSU campus community was alerted of the reported threat through the RAVE system. All individuals were asked to evacuate and avoid these areas. University police and the Wichita Police Department established perimeters and conducted searches at the impacted areas and found no devices. The all-clear was issued at 12:46 a.m. on Friday morning.
